The SATIS Technical Specifications

SATIS uses proven relational database technology. The system is scalable from a single user up to hundreds of users.

SATIS may be web enabled, if required. This means that SATIS can be operated through the Internet using Internet technologies, in addition to client/server in a local area network (LAN) or a wide area network (WAN).

Data can readily be interfaced to other systems such as SAGE payroll, ledger systems and electronic monitoring products such as CM2000.

Example implementation configurations:

• The minimum equipment for a single user is a PC with Windows 98, NT4, Windows 2000 or XP operating system.
  
  
• A multi-user system could have a database server with the SATIS database and one or more PC clients with the SATIS application.
  
  
• A web-enabled multi-user system would have a database server with the SATIS database, an application server with the SATIS application and one or more PC clients with the Netscape or Internet Explorer browser. These PCs could be anywhere, in the users offices or in their homes. They could connect through the internet or a VPN to the application and database servers.
